WE are very proud to announce that the Danish curators Kristoffer Lindhardt Weiss and Boris Brorman Jensen have chosen us to participate in the Venice Biennale 2016 in Italy!

The international architecture biennale in Venice is the world's biggest architecture event with more than 120,000 guests and takes place every second year. More than 60 national pavilions are present at the biennale around the city. The biennale officially opens on 28 May 2016 and runs until 27 November 2016.

The thematic frame for the 2016 biennale is set by the Chilean architect, Alejandro Aravena. Under the headline "Reporting from the Front", the biennale is aimed at exploring the role of architecture in "the fight to strengthen the life quality of humans all over the world".

Danish Architecture Centre has been appointed by the Ministry of Culture in Denmark as commissioner for the official Danish contribution to the biennale. The project is supported by Realdania, the Ministry of Culture and the Danish Art Foundation's grant and project committee.

The Danish curators Kristoffer Lindhards Weiss and Boris Brorman Jensen have for many years observed, discussed and contributed to Danish architecture and urban planning through books, articles, lectures and exhibitions.
