Bavnehøj Youth House shortlisted for WAN Award

With entries from all over the world, the WAN award competition is the largest and most diverse architectural awards programme in the world, celebrating the outstanding works conducted by imaginative designers, engineers and visionary architects.

The category “Wood in Architecture” highlights the structural and aesthetic mastery of timber designs. Bavnehøj Youth House is selected based on its unique and sustainable façade system constructed of CO2 neutral, recycle friendly modified Radiata Pine which is both FSC® and Cradle to Cradle Gold certified as well as holding the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

The project further more received a BUILD award for “Best in Youth Housing”.
