Located in Skovlunde, Bybjergvej Senior Co-housing forms part of a broader strategic development of the area surrounding the existing care center and senior community. The project is aimed at strengthening the sense of community, security, and connection between independent senior living and nearby care services.

The project comprises 18 senior housing units organized as a co-housing community, centered around shared facilities including a common room, kitchen, and terraces. These shared spaces are designed to support daily interaction and connection among residents, creating a framework where independent living is balanced with a strong sense of belonging.

From the get-go, the future residents played an active role in shaping the project. In collaboration with Domea.dk and the design-build contractor, WE facilitated an ongoing dialogue through workshops, study trips, and project meetings – helping to shape the shared functions and the layout of their future homes.
